By accessing or using the Good Frequency website (goodfrequency.com.au) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, customers and others who access or use our website or engage our services.
Our Services
Good Frequency provides solar energy system design, supply, installation and maintenance services primarily for residential customers in Queensland, Australia.
All quotes, proposals and system designs are based on information you provide and are subject to a site inspection and technical assessment. We reserve the right to amend any proposal following a site assessment if roof conditions, electrical infrastructure or other factors differ from the information provided.
Quotes & Proposals
All quotes provided through our website, over the phone or in person are estimates based on the information available at the time. A quote is not a binding contract until:
• A site inspection has been completed and verified
• A formal written proposal has been issued and accepted by you
• Any required deposit has been paid
• The cooling-off period (10 business days) has expired or been waived in writing
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. After 30 days, we reserve the right to adjust pricing based on current market conditions, product availability and government incentive rates.
Warranty & Guarantees
Good Frequency provides the following warranties on new installations:
• Solar panels: 25-year product and performance warranty (Tier-1 manufacturers)
• Inverters: 10-year standard warranty (extended warranties available)
• Batteries: 10-year warranty (where applicable)
• Workmanship: 10-year installation warranty
Our $0 electricity bill guarantee is subject to the specific terms and conditions outlined in your Customer Agreement, including system sizing, usage patterns and maintenance requirements. The guarantee does not apply where system performance is affected by factors outside our control, including damage from extreme weather events, unauthorised modifications or failure to maintain the system.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian consumer law:
• Good Frequency's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific services giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill
• We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, supply chain disruptions, weather events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Our liability for breach of a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law is limited to repair, replacement or refund as appropriate
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
Acceptable Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site or servers
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the site
• Submit false or misleading information in quote requests or contact forms
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity
